How it works
You upload once
Upload your artwork the way you always do. Printumo works out how much real detail it holds and puts a grade on every print size: poor, average, good or great.
We offer to fix the sizes that would print soft
If a size would print soft, you get an offer to rebuild the artwork at a higher resolution. Press Enhance artwork. That is the whole thing. No waiting, no second upload, no extra file to keep track of. A size already graded good is never offered on.
The rebuild happens when the print is ordered
When a customer orders, we rebuild your file at a higher resolution and send that straight to the printer. Nothing for you to do, and nothing to wait for. Order the same product again and we reuse the rebuild we already made.
What counts as sharp

The bigger you sell, the more this matters
- 90 canvas sizes, up to 180 x 120 cm: Printumo sells larger than most print on demand platforms. That is the point of us, and it is also exactly where resolution runs out.
- The big sizes carry the margin: A 120 x 80 cm canvas sells at a price a 30 x 40 cm print never will. The upscaler is what lets you list those sizes without gambling on how they come out.

Questions about the AI upscaler
No. Your original stays exactly as you uploaded it. The rebuild is a separate file kept alongside it, and you can go back to the original artwork whenever you want.
Up to four times the long edge. Beyond 4x a precision model stops reconstructing and starts guessing, and we reproduce artists' work. Your file also needs at least 800 pixels of real detail on the long edge to begin with.
Then we tell you which ones. If we can reach the target on some sizes and not others, Printumo names the sizes that will still print soft before you publish. Past a couple of them it says it plainly, such as 70 x 70 cm and larger. You decide whether to offer them at all.
Only the artwork pixels are sent to the upscaling provider. No account, customer, payment or order details go with them. The rebuilt file is stored on your product, so a repeat order of the same print does not pay for it a second time.
