From accountant to artist
Jacob Lund always had a creative streak. As a child, his mother predicted he'd become an artist—and she was right, though it took a few detours to get there.
After studying business and working in finance and startups, it wasn't until the COVID-19 lockdowns that Jacob returned to painting. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a calling.
He started selling his work from his Copenhagen apartment, and to his surprise, it resonated. One sale led to another—and before long, art became his full-time path.

"I never planned to become a full-time artist—it just happened when I finally gave myself space to create."
Today, art is no longer just a passion—it's his profession. Jacob spends his days painting, meeting with collectors, and building a life around the thing he loves most.
His creative process is instinctive, emotional, and open-ended—he often doesn't know where a piece is going until it's finished, and that's exactly how he likes it.
Jacob's story is proof that it's never too late to reconnect with your passion and let it shape your path.
