London based contemporary abstract artist
Joanna Gilbert is a London-based abstract artist whose work is characterised by bold colours, energetic compositions, and a sense of emotional honesty.
She completed her Master’s in Fine Art at UAL Chelsea in 2018, graduating with distinction for her project Nothing to Buy.
It was during this period that Joanna faced some of the most challenging moments in her life. Through that experience, she discovered a stronger sense of purpose and clarity in her creative process.

"I use abstract art to express clarity, energy, and emotional honesty."
Her art became a way to communicate energy, emotion, and freedom—something she had long been searching for.
Today, Joanna’s work is represented by galleries in the UK and abroad, and placed in offices, hotels, and private collections through her collaborations with curators and interior designers.
Joanna describes her art as a way to connect and share a message of creativity and empowerment—on her terms, and in her own voice.
