A story of movement, emotion, and creative freedom
Amanda Heath’s journey to becoming a professional artist has been anything but linear. It began with movement—training as a professional dancer from the age of eleven, a path that took her across the world and rooted her in the language of physical expression.
When that chapter ended, Amanda pivoted to entrepreneurship, building successful businesses over fifteen years. Yet despite the outward signs of success, a deeper creative calling remained.
That calling eventually became too loud to ignore. In her late forties, while encouraging her own children to follow their dreams, Amanda realised she had yet to pursue her own. That realisation led to a pivotal decision: she sold her business and fully committed to life as an artist.

“I don’t paint what I see—I paint what I feel.”
Amanda’s work is grounded in emotional energy and the freedom to express what can’t be captured with words.
Her paintings are intuitive, layered, and deeply textural—often combining lush paints, inks, collage, and metallic elements. Each piece is a response to emotion, a visual translation of energy in motion.
Amanda’s art invites viewers to feel something: to pause, shift, and connect with a sense of possibility. Her journey is a reminder that it’s never too late to start—and that creativity, when fully embraced, can change everything.
