Interruption Print

‘Interruption’ begins with order. Two straight black lines. Three circles placed like they belong in a grid. But order doesn’t get the final say. The orange pushes forward. The red, blue, and yellow overlap and spill past their edges. A thick black arc cuts across everything, and the paint drips where it wants. Even the brush is left in the frame. The structure is visible, but so is the interruption.

That’s what neurodivergent art looks like to me. It’s thinking in motion, not in straight lines. It’s holding multiple things at once — energy and calm, focus and drift — and letting them exist together without smoothing them out. The work isn’t a metaphor for neurodivergence. It’s made from it. It leaves the gap on purpose. And it asks you to meet it as whole, exactly as it is.
