Scattered Light Print

‘Scattered Light’ is raw and energetic. Thick strokes of periwinkle blue drag across hot pink and deep purple, like wind moving colour around. There are scrapes, layers, and little bits of sparkle scattered across the surface. Nothing is neat. Everything is in motion. It feels like a moment caught mid-release.

This is what sensory input feels like for me. Too many colours, too much movement, too much texture all at once. It can be overwhelming, but it’s also beautiful. The sparkles are the little joys that catch my eye when everything else is loud. The strokes are stimming — repeating, releasing, needing to move. Neurodiverse brains don’t always fit into clean lines. Sometimes we’re this: messy, bright, layered, and still finding beauty in the chaos.
