Nearly forty years ago, a dear friend gifted me an unexpected airplane ticket to Mexico. It became the journey of a lifetime for both of us - filled with vivid jungle walks, swimming in a secret cenote in the rainforest, and my very first scuba diving experience guided by a direct Mayan descendant, where the marine life swam right into our hands. In recent years, those treasured, hidden memories flooded back to me when I was painting in my studio, and I poured them directly onto these four canvases. How to style it?
