I'm Harri Tarkka, an artist and illustrator based in Helsinki, Finland.

I've spent nearly three decades working with illustration, painting and visual storytelling. With a master's degree in architecture, my background also includes designing exhibitions for museums.

Over the years, I've illustrated books, magazines, advertising campaigns and all kinds of unusual ideas. I've also written and illustrated a children's book, published in 2005.

I've always been drawn to strange creatures, unexpected characters and the slightly absurd side of life. My paintings and illustrations often combine humour, imagination and a touch of the surreal.

I like artwork that has a personality of its own — something that makes you look twice, discover a detail or simply smile.

The prints in this shop are selected from my original paintings and illustrations.

Thanks for stopping by.
