Shane Garton Artist Prints
There’s nothing quite as exciting as making the invisible, visible. I am an Australian contemporary abstract expressionist artist and photographer, currently based in Hobart, Tasmania, where I work from my studio/the sandbox (where I go to play) under the name Capra7ArtStudio.
About the Artist
Every painting/artwork begins with a question I cannot answer. It grows through instinct, curiosity and moments I could never have planned. People often ask what the finished work means, yet I believe its truest meaning is found in the space between the painting and the person standing before it. There, memories awaken, emotions shift and new stories quietly emerge. If my work leaves you looking a little longer, feeling something you cannot quite name or discovering a reflection of yourself within the surface, then the conversation has already begun.
