About the Artist
My work explores the relationship between geometry, color and place, inspired by landscapes, animals, architecture and the visual atmosphere of different environments.
I’m strongly influenced by Bauhaus and mid-century modern design, with a love for bold shapes, simplicity and, admittedly, a slight obsession with primary colors. Red, blue and yellow somehow keep finding their way into my work.
I also enjoy experimenting with completely different styles from time to time. Little by little, I’m beginning to recognize my own signature in each design, certain colors, shapes and compositions that keep appearing, even when I’m trying something new.
Perhaps an artist’s style isn’t something you create on purpose. Maybe you discover it along the way. LC
