rebellious energy crafted to a 12-inch record sleeve. Built with a deep punk overlay using vintage music magazines from my mum’s personal collection, this piece makes a bold statement with vivid hits of pink.
As part of my collection exploring grief and healing through art, this piece symbolises the end of the beginning. It was created completely intuitively, building itself layer by layer without a set plan, yet carrying a profound emotional weight behind it. Fragmented pieces of my old original artwork are torn and buried beneath the vibrant punk imagery, creating a rich backdrop where memory and raw expression collide.
SENSE of CRAFT marks a powerful turning point in the series where chaotic emotion transforms into loud, undeniable strength. Every ripped edge and sharp contrast tells a story of survival and transition. I have now decided to give these deeply personal works a new home where their stories can live on.
