Punk Parade is a deeply personal, heavy-layered collage created on an album sleeve - breathing vibrant new life into my late mother’s personal magazine collection. Rendered in a stark contrast of high-energy neons and raw monochrome, the piece blends textured layers of tape, torn paper, and vintage magazine cuttings to channel the raw stages of grief and healing into tangible art.
Grounded in my mother’s love for the punk movement, each layer carries sentiment, memory, and narrative weight- inviting the viewer to look closer and uncover the stories woven within.
