I created "Dance Together" in the year 2000. It presents an intimate moment between two figures, their forms intertwined in an embrace yet their heads pulling away. Dance together was part of a series of couples paintings. I paint intuitively and more subconsciously than consciously I painted couples, possibly because I longed for a partner. Now many, but not all, of my paintings are representing a search for something, but I cannot always explain that deeper meaning. I don't think that matters as I like the viewer to recognise their own story in my art. This artwork invites contemplation of love and unity, making it a striking addition to any space that seeks to evoke emotion and warmth. This painting is only available as a print as the original is not for sale.
