Flamenco with a twist

Living in Andalusia, Spain, the cradle of flamenco music and dance, it is almost impossible not to be inspired by flamenco. But my flamenco women rarely dance. Instead, they sit, wait, dream or simply look away. These colourful paintings are my own interpretation of flamenco, capturing the mood, strength and character surrounding the dance rather than the dance itself.
