About the Artist

Apart from drawing and painting, there are a number of things that have been dear to Raqelle’s heart since childhood. The art of dancing and the art reflected in the design and beauty of nature and the many colours it comes in. She combines all of these passions in her work. Most of her art is imaginative, that is to say, she doesn’t paint what she sees with her eyes, but rather, with her minds eye. Painting from ‘within’ is what she enjoys the most. She also believes that any talent we possess stems from the greatest ARTIST and designer of all the beautiful things that we enjoy.
