Mukta Sareen has returned to this canvas by hand, applying oil and acrylic in deliberate, considered layers. The forms that were latent in the print are now drawn forward — given weight, edge, and presence through direct mark-making. The interconnections between structures are reinforced. The gold breathes differently. This is a living surface, made so by the artist's returning hand.

About the Artist
I am a contemporary artist driven by a lifelong fascination with the spiritual, the symbolic and the ancient. Trained in fine arts, I have spent decades developing a practice rooted equally in deep research and painterly instinct.
My subjects are never chosen lightly. Whether drawing from ancient cosmologies, sacred geometry or spiritual traditions spanning cultures and centuries, I immerse myself in the history and meaning of a subject long before the work takes visual form — tracing its origins, understanding its symbols and finding its modern resonance.
The works that emerge are mixed media on canvas — richly layered, hand-finished in oils and acrylics, built with a surface depth that rewards close looking. Each piece carries the weight of what went into it.
Based in the UK, I work with an international collector base and welcome bespoke commissions for those seeking a work created around a specific intention, space or subject.
