Sneha — tenderness, affection, the love that asks nothing in return. Against a teal and gold ground that moves like water catching light, Kamadhenu  the divine cow and her calf exist in a moment of absolute closeness. The palette is the most contemporary in the series — luminous, shifting, full of quiet energy — yet the feeling it carries is as old as motherhood itself.

The two figures are held together by colour as much as composition, the teal ground wrapping around them like an embrace. This is maternal love made visible — not sentimental, but elemental. A work for those who understand that the deepest bonds need no explanation

This composition is created through a layered digital art process with extensive artistic refinement and painterly texture development. The work carries a rich visual depth that shifts beautifully with changing light. The teal tones bring freshness and modernity, while the gold surface preserves the warmth and sacred resonance associated with traditional Indian art.

About the Artist

I am a contemporary artist driven by a lifelong fascination with the spiritual, the symbolic and the ancient. Trained in fine arts, I have spent decades developing a practice rooted equally in deep research and painterly instinct.
My subjects are never chosen lightly. Whether drawing from ancient cosmologies, sacred geometry or spiritual traditions spanning cultures and centuries, I immerse myself in the history and meaning of a subject long before the work takes visual form — tracing its origins, understanding its symbols and finding its modern resonance.
The works that emerge are mixed media on canvas — richly layered, hand-finished in oils and acrylics, built with a surface depth that rewards close looking. Each piece carries the weight of what went into it.
Based in the UK, I work with an international collector base and welcome bespoke commissions for those seeking a work created around a specific intention, space or subject.
My paintings are made for spaces and people who value meaning as much as beauty.
