Paining on Silk 1994 (Silk app. 75 x 55, black passepartout with "leaf" cut, metall frame 101 x 71 cm )
Art Style:
The silk painting combines elements of Art Nouveau with Symbolist influences. The lattice structure, which merges organically with nature, and the decorative, flowing lines are characteristic of this art period.
Image Description:
The work depicts a dense, yellow-green plant landscape with two birds, overlaid by a dark, intricately knotted lattice structure. In the background, a soft, colorful evening sky can be seen shimmering through the plants and lattice. The leaves at the bottom playfully break through the frame and extend into the mat. The piece is signed by the artist at the bottom left: Walter Schneider 94.
Image analysis:
Composition: A strict, orthogonal grid system of dark bands contrasts with the irregular, organically growing plant parts and birds.
Color and light: Fresh green and yellow tones in the vegetation meet a warm evening light in the background and the deep black-blue of the grid.
Texture: Typically delicate, flowing color gradients on the silk, divided into graphic segments by razor-sharp contour lines (Gutta technique).
Perspective: A flat, two-dimensional layering of foreground (grid/leaves) and background (sky), which sacrifices deep spatial effect in favor of the decorative overall effect.
Order:
Option 1: Framed as shown (dimensions approx. 101 x 71 cm)
Option 2: Unframed, with passepartout (Please ask for different price)

Malerei auf Seide 1994 (Seide ca. 75 x 55, schwarzes Passepartout mit "Grasblatt" - Ausschnitt, Metallrahmen 101 x 71 cm)
Kunststil:
Bestellung:
Option 1: Gerahmt wie gezeigt (ca. 101 x 71 cm)
Option 2: Ungerahmt, mit Passepartout (Bitte für abweichenden Preis anfragen)

About the Artist
Hello dear art friends!
I’m Walter from Germany and a lover of contemporary art. Nowadays, the creative possibilities with digital graphics and image editing programs have become a true enrichment for creative inspiration.
That’s why my motto, "We’ll see each other in another world," has become so vivid.
This applies especially to the surrealist and geometric art styles. Art is a lifelong passion for me, and I enjoy creating creativity in my free time.
Classical paintings with Acryl, Oil, Airbrush, Silk or Pencil are also in my portfolio and posted only in my Gallery linked by "Welcome to Walter's Gallery!"
