As an artist, I try and capture the beauty of the world we live in through my paintings.

I use a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques and paint my landscapes as much as possible en plein air with the scene directly in front of me. This brings a freshness and vitality to the painting process and hopefully this is conveyed in the paintings you will find here. Painting outdoors is exciting and always draws a crowd!

I also paint larger pictures in the studio and have embarked on a series that highlight the people and passion of Spain, and especially Andalucia where I live. In these I have attempted to bring movement and energy and emotion.
