MOGENS ELGAARD Regarding his photographic work, Mogens Elgaard says: TABLEAUX OF CHANCE "I seek out rhythm and harmony within the apparent chaos and disorder of everyday life. My images do not aim to tell a specific story, but rather to convey a wordless, 'pure' aesthetic experience of form and color—and perhaps to nurture a childlike curiosity in the viewer; that is what drives me." Credo: "Anything can be photographed" – William Eggleston, American photographer and pioneer of color photography. JURIED EXHIBITIONS: • Artists’ Autumn Exhibition (KE) 2008 • Nordkraft, Aalborg 2014, 2016 • Artists’ Easter Exhibition (KP), Aarhus 2017 • Artists’ Summer Exhibition, Tistrup 2017 • Bornholm Juried Spring Exhibition, 2026 SOLO EXHIBITIONS (SELECTED) • Farum Cultural Centre • Mosedamgaard, Værløse • Furesø Museums • WTC, Ballerup • The Gatekeeper’s House (Portnerboligen), Sophienholm • Husumvold Church DATA: Born in Aalborg, 1957 MA (Cand.mag.) – Danish and Philosophy.
