About the Artist - Yumicrea - Justyna Bozenska

My creative work is built on the dialogue between the unpredictable fluidity of water and the precision of structural lines. By working with watercolor, ink, and mixed media, I let pigments move freely on paper before adding delicate boundaries, geometric connections, or metallic touches.

My art is divided into two main directions that constantly talk to each other:

In these minimalist pieces, I capture quiet boundaries between earth, sky, and water. Using soft washes, misty horizons, and vibrant green ridges, I create spaces that invite stillness. These works represent quiet moments of transition, offering a sanctuary of calm.

In my abstract works, I paint cellular structures, interconnected networks, and symbolic shapes (such as hands or protective forms). These pieces use bright colors, intuitive patterns, and metallic highlights to represent human connections, energy, and the quiet spaces of our inner minds.

Translating my original paintings into high-quality canvas prints is a deliberate choice to make contemporary art accessible. This process meticulously preserves the delicate bleeding edges, transparent layers, and rich textures of the initial creations. Shifting from paper to canvas gives the artwork a warm, tactile presence, bringing lasting beauty and serenity into everyday spaces.
