This canvas print is based on an original mixed-media artwork created using plastic and paint on wood.
The composition combines a simplified human figure with graphic symbols and bold colour contrasts. The visual language draws on the familiar signs of games and systems—X and O, lines, and repeated marks—suggesting ideas of rules, positions, and the ways individuals move within structured environments. The figure appears both playful and constrained, inviting viewers to reflect on how identity and agency exist within larger patterns.
The artwork is reproduced on a durable poly-cotton blend canvas with a soft matte-satin finish. Printed using water-based HP Latex inks, the colours remain vibrant and long-lasting, with added UV protection.
The canvas is stretched over a solid 4 cm deep wooden frame made from responsibly sourced timber, creating a ready-to-hang piece that brings the character of the original artwork into your space.

About the Artist
Hello, I’m Vica, an artist based in Glasgow. I create mixed-media artworks and prints using materials such as paper, paint, thread and collage.
My work often combines simple figures, patterns and bold colour fields. I’m interested in how marks, lines and repeated shapes can suggest signals, movement and the ways we find our place within different systems and environments.
Each piece begins as an original handmade artwork, and the prints allow these works to travel into new spaces and homes.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my work and for supporting independent artists.
