The composition combines a stylised portrait with a simple everyday scene. A bright orange coffee cup and handwritten notes introduce a playful narrative element, while the loose lines and layered marks give the work the feeling of a sketchbook page or visual diary. The piece captures a quiet moment of observation, where ordinary details become part of a small, personal story.
Printed on a durable poly-cotton blend canvas with a soft matte-satin finish, the artwork is reproduced using water-based HP Latex inks, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting colours with UV protection.
The canvas is stretched over a solid wooden frame, 4 cm deep, made from responsibly sourced timber, creating a ready-to-hang piece that brings the character and spontaneity of the original artwork into your space.

About the Artist
Hello, I’m Vica, an artist based in Glasgow. I create mixed-media artworks and prints using materials such as paper, paint, thread and collage.
My work often combines simple figures, patterns and bold colour fields. I’m interested in how marks, lines and repeated shapes can suggest signals, movement and the ways we find our place within different systems and environments.
Each piece begins as an original handmade artwork, and the prints allow these works to travel into new spaces and homes.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my work and for supporting independent artists.
