About the Artist
Moylin Buldain is an award-winning contemporary figurative artist born and raised in the United Kingdom and currently residing between Germany and the UK. Her practice explores themes of folklore, memory, and personal narrative through expressive figurative painting. Drawing from cultural storytelling, lived experiences, and imagined worlds, she creates emotionally charged works that balance representation and abstraction.
Through a distinctive visual language characterised by rich colour, layered textures, and gestural mark-making, her paintings examine identity, belonging, and the stories that shape human experience.
She has exhibited internationally across the United Kingdom, Japan, and New York, and has received recognition through several award-winning competitions in painting and sculpture. Her work continues to develop through an ongoing exploration of narrative, symbolism, and the expressive possibilities of the painted figure.
