A pretty bold piece that feels warm and welcoming. I pulled back on my usual heavy detail and layered more gently to keep things simple and soothing. The purple oil wash is just right, soft and balanced so your eye can drift around the canvas to the other blocks of colour.
I left a circle sitting within the purple wash, like a cloudy sky hiding the moon. Maybe it’s the last comforting thing you see before sleep.
