La Dolce Vita II continues a visual journey through Southern Italy, drawing on memories and photographs from Procida, Ischia and the Amalfi Coast. Fragments of façades, balconies and windows emerge and disappear through layers of paint, photography and drawing. The recognisable and the abstract overlap, much like memories themselves – some details remain surprisingly clear, while others dissolve into colour, light and atmosphere.

With its vivid greens, soft pinks and flashes of red, La Dolce Vita II holds on to something of the intensity and warmth of the South – not as a particular place or moment, but as a feeling that lingers.
