A glimpse of a facade, a balcony, a window – fragments of a place emerging through layers of paint, photography, collage, and text. The tangible meets the abstract, as colours and traces both conceal and reveal what lies beneath. The title A Room with a View evokes the act of looking out at the world, but also within. A work about the places we observe, remember, and carry with us.
- Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant.
- Vibrant, long-lasting colors with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
- Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.

About the Artist
I am a Norwegian visual artist based in Oslo, working with painting, photography, collage, and mixed media.
I am drawn to stories – to people who carry them, places that hold them, and the traces they leave behind. The smooth and flawless hold little interest for me. I look for what bears the marks of life.
Working intuitively and in layers, I build up and break down, add and scrape away, allowing earlier traces to become part of what follows. My work moves between the recognisable and the abstract, exploring memory, place, and lived experience while leaving space for the viewer to find stories of their own.
