Long before I ever thought of myself as an artist, I was making marks like these. Today I call them Brain Scratches. They are small drawings born in quiet moments when I allow thought to step aside and instinct to take over.
With nothing more than a graphite pencil or a fine line pen, I let the line wander wherever it chooses. There is no plan and no destination. Only movement. Only trust. As soon as I begin asking what it is supposed to become, I lose the very thing I was searching for.
Creating these Brain Scratches is my way of remaining connected to childlike wonder. Children draw without apology, without expectation, and without fear of getting it wrong. I believe that freedom is something worth protecting throughout life.
These drawings are where I return to listen to my intuition, to follow my curiosity, and to let my eyes, my hand, and my heart speak in a language that words could never fully describe.

About the Artist
Every painting/artwork begins with a question I cannot answer. It grows through instinct, curiosity and moments I could never have planned. People often ask what the finished work means, yet I believe its truest meaning is found in the space between the painting and the person standing before it. There, memories awaken, emotions shift and new stories quietly emerge. If my work leaves you looking a little longer, feeling something you cannot quite name or discovering a reflection of yourself within the surface, then the conversation has already begun.
