Stimming In Colour - Repetition, Rhythm and Release Gallery Print

‘Stimming in Colour’ is playful and rhythmic. Rows of loose, stamped shapes repeat across the canvas in purple, magenta, and bright lime yellow. Each cluster feels like a little burst — a petal, a leaf, a footprint — and they’re set in a loose grid but none of them are identical. Thin green flicks and splatters cut across them, like quick notes or sparks. The background is left light, so all the colour can pop and vibrate against it.

Emotional & Sensory Details
There’s pattern here, a desire for repetition and order, but it’s not rigid. The shapes shift, bleed, and overlap in slightly different ways each time. It’s stimming on canvas: doing the same thing again because it feels good, but letting small variations happen. The green marks are interruptions, impulses that can’t help but dart through. It’s joy in routine, and joy in the tiny surprises that happen when you let yourself do it your way.
