‘Order over Texture’ starts from a single point and radiates outward. Sharp gold lines cut through thick, textured white, like rays or structure laid over chaos. The white isn’t smooth — it’s built up, scraped, and uneven. You can see the ridges, the gestures, the places where the paint was pushed. The gold stays clean and deliberate, holding everything together while the texture does its own thing underneath.

The contrast in this piece of art feels very neurodivergent to me. The need for a clear line, a center, a direction to move in. And right next to it, the messy, tactile reality that won’t be flattened. The gold is the system, the routine, the thing we reach for to make sense. The white is the sensory detail, the overwhelm, the beauty that happens when we stop trying to make it perfect. Together they make something calm and strong. Order doesn’t erase texture here.
