Jasper the Moose
Striding out of the forest into the meadows, Jasper has just noticed you're there and raised his head.
There is a tranquility in this painting (print), a serenity that belies the vibrancy and dominating fields of colour. Perhaps as it harks at the northern lights, perhaps as the wilderness continues unruffled by the observer. Perhaps because there is a deeper truth at play here.
The original, like all my paintings, is substantial (acrylic on canvas, 185 x 145), and this print will have the self-same impact on any space where it is displayed, large or small. The energy is simply palpable.
This print:
- Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant.
- Vibrant, long-lasting colors with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
- Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
Also available as a fine art paper print here on Printumo and signed limited edition via art@alainvangils.com

About me
First, a heartfelt welcome to my Printumo site.
I have a deep passion for the Animal Kingdom, and want to share the possibility of hanging my bold, expressive and above all colourful, Animal Portraits on your walls.
I have had many requests from people who don't have the space (most of my paintings are very large) or the investment required for either an original painting or signed limited edition print for an alternative option.
In Printumo I have found that option and I'm very pleased to be able to share my passion with a wider audience.
These high quality canvas and paper prints will bring joy, a smile and colour to your personal space, and I thank you for your custom.
