James the Great White Shark
I love sharks. Entirely misunderstood creatures, and essential to their ecosystem - like all predators.
I never know whether James is smiling at me or if the grin is reserved for something behind me. He looks at me, and he looks past me, or even through me perhaps.
He is bright and bold. Full of movement and anticipation. Coming out of the depth to have a closer look. The colours reflect the vibrancy of this species and the world they inhabit.
The original acrylic on canvas painting is 290 x 200cm (sold) and has an extraordinary impact on the observer. There is so much to take in, so many subtle plays of light over the body and so much, I'll say it again, movement.
James will give any room or office a definitive focal point, lend an air of high energy and expectancy, and put a smile on your face.

About me
First, a heartfelt welcome to my Printumo site.
I have a deep passion for the Animal Kingdom, and want to share the possibility of hanging my bold, expressive and above all colourful, Animal Portraits on your walls.
I have had many requests from people who don't have the space (most of my paintings are very large) or the investment required for either an original painting or signed limited edition print for an alternative option.
In Printumo I have found that option and I'm very pleased to be able to share my passion with a wider audience.
These high quality canvas and paper prints will bring joy, a smile and colour to your personal space, and I thank you for your custom.
