ABOUT THE ARTIST

Selene Caspian is a Sweden based artist working primarily in oil on canvas. Her paintings combine elements of realism, impressionism and symbolism, often moving between the recognizable and the dreamlike.

Nature plays an important role in her work. Water, flowers, animals and human figures become carriers of emotion and symbolism. Her paintings explore themes of memory, hope, freedom, childhood wonder, inner stillness and the subtle connection between people and nature.

Her work has been exhibited in Sweden and internationally, including exhibitions and art events in New York, Madrid, Marbella, Milan and Germany. Her paintings have also been selected for juried exhibitions, international art competitions and curated collections.
