About the Artist
Roy Fraser is a Dorset‑based fine‑art photographer whose work explores silence, gesture, and the architecture of the sea. Working primarily in monochrome, he reduces the landscape to its quietest forms — light, water, snow, and atmosphere — revealing the structures hidden inside fleeting moments.
His collections — Calligraphy, Hokkaido, Silence, and Noise — examine the tension between movement and stillness. Waves become calligraphic strokes, winter becomes minimalism, fog becomes negative space, and turbulence becomes sculptural form. Each piece is a meditation on absence and the residue left behind after something passes.
