About the Artist

My creative work includes drawing, printmaking, collages, digital painting, mixed media compositions and graphics. I work intuitively from memory and emotions  to create images that work for me as a composition. Some are inspired by a moment of experience, like visiting a museum or by the works of other artists, that I feel I need to express without representing it perfectly like a photo. It is a process of making marks and shapes that are meaningful to me as a kind of celebration of human creativity that is as old as cave paintings. 

I am familiar with the history of art and its narratives.
