Colour is at the heart of everything Georgie does. She draws inspiration from the ancient landscape of Wiltshire, the shifting moods of the British coast, the bold simplicity of a vase of flowers, and the warmth of a well-loved home. Artists such as Bernard Cathelin, Jo Vollers, and the luminous blues of Matisse all echo through her work, alongside the earthy tones of Somerset potter George Bronwin. Her art also celebrates the whimsy in life, the simple magic in still life.

In 2026 she is honoured to be Artist in Residence at the National Trust at Avebury and has a solo show opening there 4th September 2026 that runs until November in the newly created Racket's Court Gallery in the Avebury Manor Garden.

Music plays a huge role in Georgie's work, and is an integral part of the painting process. She plays the accordion, fiddle, guitar and piano and loves nothing more than a family jam over a sundowner.
