Leave a Mark

This is my special interest hitting the canvas at full speed. The flat blue ground, the three perfect vertical pink lines — that's the need for order, for structure, for the track to be clear. Then the Alpine car lands right in the middle and destroys it in the best way, dragging that wet pink into a wild, scratchy starburst. That contrast is my whole neurodiverse experience. The love of lines and systems, and the love of messing them up with intense, joyful momentum. No strict style, just letting the car — the hyperfocus itself — do the painting.

For Art Without Labels, this is success because it doesn't ask me to choose. I don't have to be just the abstract painter or just the person who collects F1 cars in pink and blue. I get to be both. The sensory bit matters too — the scrape of the tyres through thick paint, the way the pink goes translucent where it's dragged thin. When people look for a label, they see a toy car. When I look, I see permission to let what I love leave a mark.
