Movement in Colour, part of the Shifting Tide Series body of art is a captivating contemporary abstract expressionist painting that explores fluid energy, organic forms, and vibrant colour dynamics.

Inspired by the shifting light and raw beauty of nature, this piece creates a striking visual statement designed to elevate modern interiors.

The painting features a dynamic vignette structure, balancing dense, colourful activity along the perimeter with a luminous, open centre. Earthy foundations of deep forest green, rich sienna, and olive tones are juxtaposed against dramatic bursts of electric turquoise, magenta, and deep violet.

The fluid, overlapping brushwork mimics natural motion- reminiscent of botanical elements blooming or light breaking through a mist-covered landscape. Broad, atmospheric washes blend seamlessly into sharp, deliberate strokes, offering an exquisite balance of chaotic energy and quiet serenity.
