There are moments that ask for more space.

High Nobility — Diptych is a study in scale, silence, and sustained presence. Divided across two canvases, the portrait unfolds gradually — allowing light, shadow, and expression to breathe.

This composition does not seek movement. It rests in stillness. In the quiet authority of a gaze that holds both strength and serenity.

Executed in pastel with a watercolor background, in the technique that defines much of my work, the surface moves between softness and depth, creating a subtle tension between delicacy and power.

Created with reference to a photograph taken in 2017 by the talented Finnish photographer Tiia Tahvanainen.

Available as a limited edition canvas, ready to hang.
Offered unframed or with a refined floating frame.
