Girasoles y quinqué

This work is a still life digitally reinterpreted through geometric fragmentation and an expressionist palette.
Sunflowers, traditionally associated with life, light, and vitality, appear here fragmented across multiple planes and transparencies. The work could represent how beauty does not disappear with time, but rather transforms. The digital decomposition of forms suggests that memory preserves objects incompletely, reconstructing them from emotional fragments.
The geometric fragmentation does not destroy the image, but rather recomposes it. The sunflowers appear as a visual memory that can no longer be clearly recovered. The original photograph would have captured a real moment, but the digital intervention transforms it into a memory altered by time, emotion, and subjectivity.
Crafted using advanced digital techniques, “Girasoles y quinqué” offers a luminous finish that enhances its palette. The harmonious layering of hues evoke both energy and tranquility, making this artwork a versatile statement piece for modern interiors.
