Art Style
The silk painting is made in the style of modern crafts / Art Nouveau. The flowing, organic lines of the natural motifs and the decorative intertwining of the reeds strongly resemble the typical floral elements of this style.

Image Description
The picture shows an idyllic lily or lotus pond, on whose calm water surface several green-toned leaves float. In the foreground and at the center of the image, opened, orange flower cups bloom, while in the background dense, tall reeds or rushes rise up. A small bird sits on the left on one of the leaves, bringing the peaceful nature scene to life. The work is signed at the bottom right with a curved, handwritten artist signature: W. Schneider 91.

Composition: Vertically oriented image layout, where the leaves and reeds guide the eye in a wavelike motion from the large water lilies in the foreground into the depth of the space.

Kunststil
Das Seidengemälde ist im Stil des modernen Kunsthandwerks / Jugendstils (Art Nouveau) gefertigt. Die fließenden, organischen Linien der Naturmotive und die dekorative Verflechtung der Binsen erinnern stark an die typisch floralen Elemente dieses Stils.

Bildbeschreibung
Das Bild zeigt einen idyllischen Seerosen- oder Lotusteich, auf dessen ruhiger Wasseroberfläche mehrere grün-changierende Blätter treiben. Im Vordergrund sowie im Bildzentrum blühen geöffnete, orangefarbene Blütenkelche auf, während im Hintergrund dichtes, hohes Schilf oder Binsengras emporragt. Ein kleiner Vogel sitzt links auf einem der Blätter und belebt die friedliche Naturszene. Das Werk ist unten rechts mit einer geschwungenen, handschriftlichen Künstlersignatur versehen W.Schneider 91.

Bildanalyse

Komposition: Vertikal ausgerichteter Bildaufbau, bei dem die Blätter und Binsen den Blick wellenförmig von den großen Seerosen im Vordergrund in die Tiefe des Raumes leiten.
