‘Growth without Permission’ Print

‘Growth without Permission’ consists of thick textured strokes of lime, forest, and neon green cover the canvas. No outline, no rules, just layers of paint moving upward. Some strokes are dark and deep, others are bright like sunlight hitting leaves. It feels alive. It feels like spring that decided to happen anyway.

This is what healing looks like when no one is watching. Neurodiverse growth doesn’t ask permission. We grow in weird ways, in wrong seasons, through concrete. People tell us to be smaller, quieter, less. But this painting says no. The green keeps pushing up. The texture shows we’re not smooth or perfect — we’re layered, rough, real. "Growth without Permission" is for every neurodiverse person who decided to bloom even when the world wasn’t ready for them.
