LOVE MUSIC is a heavily layered, deeply expressive collage created on a 12-inch record sleeve. Built around the powerful connection between love, sound, and healing, this piece explores how music acts as a bridge through loss- holding our deepest emotions when words aren't enough.
As part of my collection exploring grief and healing through art, the surface is loaded with raw physical texture. Strips of tape art, bold sweeps of spray paint, and torn fragments of my old original artwork are woven alongside vintage music ephemera. The dense, tactile layers mimic the complex, interwoven nature of love and grief, creating a rhythm that feels both chaotic and deeply comforting.
LOVE MUSIC is a soulful homage to the songs and memories that pull us through our hardest chapters. Every ripped edge and painted mark carries sentiment, memory, and heart, inviting you to look a little closer. I have now decided to give these deeply personal works a new home where their stories can live on.
