Erosion was created as a bespoke piece for a client who wanted a pared-back, minimalist artwork with an organic, understated feel. Layers of warm taupe, stone, muted ochre and soft ivory are built through raw texture and distressed markings, giving the piece a beautifully aged and natural quality.
The composition moves from deeper, earthy tones into a luminous, almost ethereal upper space, suggesting light breaking through mist or a landscape slowly emerging from memory. Raw texture and subtle tonal shifts give the piece depth and movement while retaining a calm, understated quality.
A quiet, tactile piece designed to feel timeless, refined and beautifully understated.
