A colourful and playful work where fragments of architecture, text, and organic forms emerge through layers of paint, drawing, and collage. The recognisable appears and disappears again within an almost dreamlike urban landscape. The title Ciao bello adds a glimpse of Italy – a greeting, an encounter, perhaps a memory of a place.

About the Artist
I am a Norwegian visual artist based in Oslo, working with painting, photography, collage, and mixed media.
I am drawn to stories – to people who carry them, places that hold them, and the traces they leave behind. The smooth and flawless hold little interest for me. I look for what bears the marks of life.
Working intuitively and in layers, I build up and break down, add and scrape away, allowing earlier traces to become part of what follows. My work moves between the recognisable and the abstract, exploring memory, place, and lived experience while leaving space for the viewer to find stories of their own.
