Canvas print of large original acrylic painting by Ian Palmer:

The canvas print is a reproduction of an original painting by Ian Palmer:
'Tweeter'
Acrylic paint, acrylic pens, ink, household paint, spray paint, pencil.
Signed on front.

This is one of a series of paintings that were a deliberate attempt to portray a more optimistic, brighter and forward looking collection. Although I always have a thought, a concept or an idea when I start to paint I am never adverse to that changing depending on the mood, the color composition, the atmosphere or even the music playing in the studio that day! All influences can be utilized and it is not always relevant where the initial spark or thought came from.

Painted for the show:
'Objects, Points and Lines - Last 10 Years', in La Réole, Ancien hôtel de ville.
This piece and the paintings that accompanied it used bright colors and extravagant gestural marks that broke free from the darker 'expressions' that had been prevalent in the previous few years works.

The Digital Print is:
  • Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant.
  • Vibrant, long-lasting colors with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
Our Frames are:
  • Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 3.2 cm deep.
  • Our floater frames are crafted from poplar hardwood, giving your canvas the appearance of floating within the frame.
