Experiments With Colour is an ongoing series exploring the relationship between colour, movement and texture. Each piece begins without a fixed plan, allowing layers of paint, marks and gestures to develop organically across the surface. The result is a collection of abstract works that focus less on representation and more on the emotional impact of colour itself.

Built around rich reds, burnt oranges and flashes of yellow, 'Afterglow' explores the energy that emerges when colour is allowed to dominate the composition. Layers of sweeping marks and textured surfaces create a sense of movement and depth, while brighter passages of light break through the darker tones beneath. The result is a work that feels vibrant and expressive, balancing intensity with a surprising sense of rhythm and cohesion.

This canvas print is produced using a high-quality poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Prints are scratch, crack, and warp resistant, using vibrant, long-lasting colours printed with water-based HP Latex inks with UV protection. Each canvas is stretched over a renewably sourced solid wood frame, with a depth of 4 cm as standard, and arrives ready to hang.
