Painting on Silk 1991  - Picture approx. 60 x 80 cm (framed approx. 76 x 95 cm, with passepartout))

Art style:
Art Nouveau. The work uses the classic flowing lines, the organic symmetry, and the floral motifs that were typical for this period around 1900. The piece can be classified as Art Nouveau and applied arts.

Image description:
A hilly landscape with trees and a fence is framed by a pink border. On the left and right edges of the image, stylized hanging fuchsia and bindweed flowers climb upward. The upper part shows a cloudy sky, while the foreground features gently rolling hills. A signature can be seen at the bottom right of the main image: 'W. Schneider '91'. The entire motif is applied to a textile – characteristic of silk painting – and framed in a mat.
Floral ornaments: The curving flower vines (fuchsias and bindweed) on the sides are typical of Art Nouveau.
Organic lines: The flowing, wavy contour lines decoratively frame the main motif.
Decorative framing: The combination of image and ornamental border emphasizes the artisanal character.

Image analysis: Composition: Symmetrical, flanked by floral ornaments; the focus is on the central landscape view. Color and light: Soft, pastel watercolor tones with smooth transitions; the subtle yellow in the background suggests evening light. Texture: Typically smooth, flowing silk surface with precise contour lines (gutta technique) to separate colors. Perspective: Linear depth effect through the fence getting smaller and the gently receding hill ranges.

Order:
Option 1: Framed as shown (dimensions approx. 95 x 76 cm)
Option 2: Unframed, with passepartout

Gemälde auf Seide 1991 - Bild mit ca. 60 x ca. 80 cm (gerahmt ca. 76 x 95 cm, Passepartout))

Kunststil:
Jugendstil (Art Nouveau).

Hello dear art friends!

I’m Walter from Germany and a lover of contemporary art. Nowadays, the creative possibilities with digital graphics and image editing programs have become a true enrichment for creative inspiration.
That’s why my motto, "We’ll see each other in another world," has become so vivid.
This applies especially to the surrealist and geometric art styles. Art is a lifelong passion for me, and I enjoy creating creativity in my free time.
Classical paintings with Acryl, Oil, Airbrush, Silk or Pencil are also in my portfolio and posted only in my Gallery linked by "Welcome to Walter's Gallery!"
