Style:
Constructive Surrealism (also: Metaphysical Vector Art / Neo-Surrealism). The style combines geometric-architectural structures like labyrinths with dreamlike, physically impossible landscapes and symbolic objects in the style of Giorgio de Chirico or René Magritte.
Interpretation:
The endless labyrinth symbolizes the twisted paths and dead ends of human attempts to find meaning. The tiny silhouettes in the bottom left illustrate the individual’s sense of being lost at the start of this journey. The floating sphere on the ramp represents the distant, seemingly unreachable goal of absolute truth. The cool, gray color scheme emphasizes the rational yet merciless nature of logical insight. "Misguided path of knowledge" describes the paradox that the attempt to fully comprehend the world often ends in confusion.
Image Description
The vertical artwork shows in the foreground and middle ground a huge, three-dimensional-looking labyrinth made of white walls with pinkish edges, hiding a gray half-sphere. The upper part of the image is dominated by a surreal, curved gray architectural formation, on which a perfectly reflective black sphere balances, under a sky filled with abstractly patterned clouds.
---------------------------------------------------
Stilrichtung

About the Artist
Hello dear art friends!
I’m Walter from Germany and a lover of contemporary art. Nowadays, the creative possibilities with digital graphics and image editing programs have become a true enrichment for creative inspiration.
That’s why my motto, "We’ll see each other in another world," has become so vivid.
This applies especially to the surrealist and geometric art styles. Art is a lifelong passion for me, and I enjoy creating creativity in my free time.
Classical paintings with Acryl, Oil, Airbrush, Silk or Pencil are also in my portfolio and posted only in my Gallery linked by "Welcome to Walter's Gallery!"
