Das Seidengemälde ist im floralen und dekorativen Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) gestaltet. Die bühnenartige Rahmung, die wellenförmigen Ornamente und die peitschenhiebartig geschwungenen Ranken sind charakteristische Merkmale dieser Epoche. 

 

Das Gemälde zeigt einen gerahmten Ausblick auf eine hügelige Landschaft mit Bäumen und einem Weg unter einem zart pastellfarbenen Himmel. Der rechteckige Bildausschnitt wird von drapierten, violetten Vorhängen im oberen Bereich und geschwungenen Ornamenten am unteren Rand flankiert. Zwei lilafarbene, glockenartige Blüten ranken sich symmetrisch an den Seiten empor und rahmen die Landschaft ein. Das Werk ist unten rechts mit einer Künstlersignatur versehen W.Schneider 91.
